Cambridge Junk Removal is a booking line. It is not a hauling company, a franchise, or a directory that sells your details to a list of trucks. It connects to one local junk removal crew that works across the city — Galt's century homes, Preston and Hespeler's factory-era streets, the newer subdivisions off Franklin and in north Hespeler, and the industrial and commercial units along Hespeler Road and the 401 — plus Ayr, Branchton and the farm properties of North Dumfries Township.

Junk removal attracts a particular kind of selling: a low number on the phone that becomes a different number once the truck is in the driveway, a price per item that hides a disposal fee and a fuel surcharge, and a crew that will take anything as long as nobody asks where it goes. Anyone who has cleared a parent's house or a rented industrial bay in a hurry has met at least one of those.

The point of this site is a straight line to a crew that quotes on what is actually there, tells you the number before lifting anything, revises it in front of you rather than on the invoice if the pile is bigger than described, sorts metal, wood, drywall, electronics, appliances and reusable furniture out of the landfill stream, and says plainly when something is not its job — a gas line, a wall, a drum of old oil, a basement full of plaster that should be tested first.

What we will not do: publish reviews we do not have, invent a rating or a star count, claim a number of years or trucks or happy customers, quote a flat price on a website that cannot see your basement, or sell your phone number. This site is new. It says what the crew can do and nothing more.

What the crew handles

• Whole-house and estate cleanouts, done room by room with the family or executor, in Galt century homes and across the city
• Construction and renovation debris, sorted into the streams the Region requires, for homeowners and contractors
• Appliance and scrap metal removal, with refrigerant handling and metal recycling
• Basement and garage junk removal, including flooded basements and hoarding situations
• Commercial and industrial cleanouts: racking, pallets, fixtures, office furniture and dead inventory, scheduled around the landlord and the dock

What it does not handle

This is a haul-away service with labour included. It does not rent bins or dumpsters, does not move your belongings to a new address, and does not carry hazardous or medical waste: paint, solvents, fuel, propane, pesticides, oil, chemicals, asbestos, sharps or anything that leaks. Household quantities go through the Region of Waterloo hazardous waste program; industrial quantities go through a licensed carrier; asbestos is a licensed abatement contractor's work under Ontario's rules. Disconnecting gas is a gas technician's job, disconnecting electrical service an electrician's, and demolishing a deck, a garage, a barn or a mezzanine a contractor's, sometimes with a permit from the City of Cambridge or the Township of North Dumfries. The crew hauls what those trades leave. Anyone working on your property should be able to show liability insurance and current WSIB coverage, and this crew can. You will be told when a job belongs to someone else rather than sold a truck you do not need.

How this works

When you call 226-546-5850 or send the form, your details go straight to the junk removal crew's dispatch. They ask for photos or a list, where it is and how it gets out, and give you a firm number — or, for an estate, a farm or an industrial unit, arrange a walk-through first. A date is set, the crew arrives, confirms the number against the pile, carries everything out, sorts it for recycling and disposal, and leaves the space swept. The work is done under their own insurance and WSIB coverage. Your information is not sold, not shared with a list of competing haulers, and there is no markup on your bill for the introduction.

What we won't do

• Publish reviews we didn't earn. When we have them, they'll be real ones with names.
• Quote a firm price before someone has seen the job.
• Send anyone into your property who we would not have in our own.
